Adaptogens
A category of products that contains a selected group of herbs and mushrooms, suitable for supporting our body's natural ability to cope with stress. They are called adoptogens because they can "adapt" to different needs, including biological, physical and chemical.
Some of them are an excellent source of antioxidants and contribute to increasing energy. Adaptogens simply do for our adrenal glands what they do in the gym for our muscles.
When our body is stressed, cortisol and adrenaline levels increase, which in turn leads to an increase in blood sugar and heart rate = the body tries to cope with stress as quickly as possible and return everything to homeostasis. However, constant exposure to stress factors (family problems, stress at work / school,…) contributes to adrenal fatigue and consequently to various other difficulties.
