Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a substance that our body produces to some extent on its own and is essential for the proper functioning of enzymes that accelerate various biochemical reactions in the body. The highest values are found in the heart, liver, kidneys and pancreas. The lowest in the lungs.

With increasing age, our body begins to produce less and less coenzyme, so it needs to be supplemented. We can also find it in the diet (fatty fish, organ meat - such as beef liver), but not in sufficient quantities. 

How do I know that I lack coenzyme Q10?

Its deficiency is most often manifested in the form of cardiovascular problems (such as high blood pressure), slow reactions, excessive wrinkles, blood sugar problems, lack of energy and general exhaustion.
