Egg proteins
Egg proteins are most often sought after by people who have a problem with lactose intolerance or those who do not want to ingest plant sources of protein.
Athletes use them most often after workout or at bedtime. They digest faster than casein, but slower than whey protein. They appreciate their good digestibility and naturally occurring essential amino acids, particularly the important BCAAs (branched chain amino acids).
Egg protein powders have similar properties to eggs in the traditional form, but do not contain cholesterol. They can also be used in the kitchen, when cooking and baking protein dishes.
