Enzymes
Enzymes are simple or complex proteins (proteins) called biocatalysts. They are formed in the cell of our body and support the course of metabolic reactions. They participate in growth, metabolic processes, or, for example, digestion of food intake (they help break down proteins, carbohydrates, fats).
The most well-known enzymes include: protease (proteins), amylase (carbohydrates), lipase (fats), cellulase (fibre) and lactase (breakdown of milk sugar - lactose). They are involved in the breakdown, release and absorption of valuable vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
